i reuse sandwich bags and ziplocs. i rinse them out then hang them upside down to dry on a little clothes line above my washing machine.

They are implementing a 20 cent charge for each bag at grocery stores in Washington State. Oregon is taking another stance, they will credit you 15 cents per reusable bag you use.
